Accounts Payable Accountant

Accounts Payable Accountant Position Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Accountant to join our healthcare client's Accounting team on a temporary 3-month assignment, in the downtown Honolulu area. This role is responsible for supporting daily accounts payable operations, ensuring accurate and timely processing of invoices, and maintaining strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders. Key Responsibilities Process and verify invoices for accuracy and completeness Manage accounts payable transactions in a timely manner Communicate with vendors to resolve discrepancies and payment issues Collaborate with Accounting and Supply Chain teams to ensure proper documentation Maintain organized financial records and documentation Assist with account reconciliations and reporting as needed Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards Qualifications Associate’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field, or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience Minimum of 1 year of experience in Accounts Payable or Accounting Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact with: Accounting teams Supply Chain teams Vendors Department stakeholders Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Additional Details Position is based in Honolulu 96813, cannot be worked remotely Monday-Friday, 0700-1530 or 0800-1630 $28-$30/hr. based on experience Paid parking options available This is a temporary assignment anticipated to last about 3 months, with the possibility of extension based on business needs Equal Opportunity Employer – Disability and Veteran #J-18808-Ljbffr
