Job Summary
The Accounts Payable Clerk plays a crucial role in managing the company's Accounting transactions related to vendor payments and ensuring compliance with accounting policies. This position requires attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and a solid understanding of accounting principles. The ideal candidate will be responsible for processing invoices, maintaining accurate records, and assisting with financial reporting.

Duties
- Process and verify invoices for payment, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.
- Maintain accounts payable records and reconcile discrepancies in vendor statements.
- Assist in the preparation of financial reports by providing necessary data related to accounts payable activities.
- Manage vendor relationships by addressing inquiries and resolving payment issues promptly.
- Perform data entry tasks related to accounts payable transactions into accounting software such as QuickBooks
- Support payroll management processes by coordinating with the payroll department when necessary.
- Ensure adherence to GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) in all financial transactions.
- Collaborate with other departments to streamline processes and improve efficiency in accounts payable operations.
- Collaborate with other departments to handle and process updated product pricing as they need to be updated regularly
- Ability to handle AP/AR/ General book keeping responsibilities
Skills
- Proficiency in double-entry bookkeeping and a strong understanding of debits and credits.
- Strong knowledge of Quickbooks
- Strong knowledge of Excel
- Familiarity with accounts receivable processes is advantageous.
- Knowledge of ADP systems for payroll management is a plus.
- Familiarity with inventory & inventory based accounting is a major plus
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail for accurate financial reporting.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Strong communication skills to interact with vendors and internal teams professionally.

Job Type: Full-time- In Office- no remote
Pay: $50,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
