We are looking for someone with demonstrated knowledge of Accounts Payable best practices; great teamwork and diplomacy skills; amazing attention to detail and commitment to excellence; and a can-do, positive attitude.TASKS:Performing verifications of journal, ledger, and other records’ entriesMonitoring the Company’s travel programsMonitoring the Employees PNC usages and compliance with Company guidelinesAdministering the Company’s purchasing programPosting journal, ledger and other records’ entries.Filing / Photocopying / administrative dutiesProcessing vendor invoices.Submitting checks and vouchers for review and signature.Managing Activepay and Positive Pay FTP payment files to banksPreparing year end 1099 and 1096 forms as required by lawPreparing monthly, quarterly, and year-end accrual schedulesPreparing journal entriesCompiling, auditing and reviewing credit card reports to ensure proper documentation,accuracy, and web application sign-off.Assisting in month-end and year-end closings as requestedAssisting in special projects as assignedREQUIREMENTS:Basic understanding of accounting industry principles and best practicesWritten and oral communication skillsRelevant computer programs including Excel and DynamicsMath skillsSuperior organizational skillsAbility to learn and retain factsSuperior attention to detailCredit card administrationPurchase orderingCollege Degree Required1+ years’ experience in a general accounting environment
