Parallel Employment Group is looking for a dedicated Temporary Accounts Payable Clerk to support a manufacturing client located in Elkhorn, WI. The successful candidate will be responsible for processing invoices, managing vendor communications, and ensuring the accuracy and completeness of financial records.

Temporary: Approximentaly 3-4 months

Full-Time: Monday - Friday; 8 am - 5 pm

Responsibilities

  • Process accounts payable transactions and verify invoices for accuracy
  • Match invoices with purchase orders and ensure proper approval for payment
  • Code and enter invoices into the accounting system
  • Prepare and process weekly check runs to ensure timely disbursement
  • Reconcile vendor statements and follow up on discrepancies
  • Assist with month-end closing activities including accruals and reconciliations

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent; an Associate's degree in accounting or related field is a plus
  • Proven experience in accounts payable or a similar role
  • Familiarity with accounting software, such as QuickBooks or SAP
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage time efficiently
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Basic understanding of accounting principles
