Accounts Payable Clerk Hr Week Contract Apply
Parallel Employment Group is looking for a dedicated Temporary Accounts Payable Clerk to support a manufacturing client located in Elkhorn, WI. The successful candidate will be responsible for processing invoices, managing vendor communications, and ensuring the accuracy and completeness of financial records.
Temporary: Approximentaly 3-4 months
Full-Time: Monday - Friday; 8 am - 5 pm
Responsibilities
- Process accounts payable transactions and verify invoices for accuracy
- Match invoices with purchase orders and ensure proper approval for payment
- Code and enter invoices into the accounting system
- Prepare and process weekly check runs to ensure timely disbursement
- Reconcile vendor statements and follow up on discrepancies
- Assist with month-end closing activities including accruals and reconciliations
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent; an Associate's degree in accounting or related field is a plus
- Proven experience in accounts payable or a similar role
- Familiarity with accounting software, such as QuickBooks or SAP
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage time efficiently
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Basic understanding of accounting principles
