Job Description Join our dynamic team as an Accounts Payable Specialist, where you will play a crucial role in ensuring the timely and accurate processing of vendor invoices. This position offers growth opportunities, a supportive work environment, and comprehensive benefits from day one. Responsibilities Process a high volume of invoices with accuracy. Perform three-way match reconciliation of purchase orders to goods receipts to invoices. Understand and apply tax plans appropriately to the processing of vendor invoices for multiple project locations. Provide excellent customer service to internal and external customers, promoting a sense of urgency toward business-critical issues. Follow established processes, procedures, and internal controls. Identify and communicate opportunities for process improvement, collaborating with internal and external partners to increase efficiencies. Maintain reliable and consistent attendance. Essential Skills Accounts payable experience. Proficiency in accounting and customer service. Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook. Experience with SAP or ERP systems. Professional demeanor with reliable attendance and punctuality. Additional Skills & Qualifications Entry-level or recent college graduates are welcome. Experience in accounting or finance is a plus. Excellent energy and positivity, with a long-term career mindset. Strong multitasking abilities, with a focus on collaboration. Great customer service skills and willingness to learn. Previous experience in credit and collections, banking, account management, tax analysis, or business support roles is advantageous. Work Environment This position is initially 100% in-office with the potential for up to 2 work-from-home days per week after 90 days based on performance. The team is a mix of ages and experiences, fostering a collaborative and open-minded atmosphere. Typical working hours are 40 hours per week, from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM or 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM, with a 30-minute lunch break. Overtime is not frequent. The office environment is friendly and positive, with amenities such as on-site Starbucks. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of La Vista, NE. Pay And Benefits The pay range for this position is $20.50 - $20.50/hr.
