Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accounts Payable Manager to oversee our company's accounts payable department. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing vendor payments, ensuring compliance with financial policies, and leading a team to maintain accurate financial records.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and supervise the accounts payable team, ensuring efficient operations.
  • Oversee the processing of vendor invoices, payments, and expense reimbursements.
  • Develop and implement accounts payable policies and procedures to ensure compliance.
  • Maintain accurate financial records and reconcile accounts payable transactions.
  • Ensure timely payments to vendors while optimizing cash flow management.
  • Collaborate with internal departments to resolve invoice discrepancies.
  • Prepare financial reports related to accounts payable activities.
  • Assist in month-end and year-end closing processes.
  • Monitor and improve accounts payable systems for efficiency and accuracy.
  • Train and mentor accounts payable staff to enhance performance.
  • Excellent Project Management Skills.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounts payable or financial management.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial regulations.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems.  Microsoft Dynamics a plus.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to analyze financial data and generate reports.
  • Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities.
