LHH Recruitment Solutions is supporting one of our clients seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Specialist for the office in Sacramento, California. The job is all onsite! The ideal candidate will have construction industry SAGE 100 software experience. The role will be responsible for performing accounting and clerical tasks related to the efficient maintenance and processing of accounts payable transactions. Responsibilities:
  • Process accounts payable invoices and ensure proper coding and approvals are obtained
  • Maintain vendor files, reconcile vendor statements, and resolve discrepancies
  • Process weekly check runs and ACH payments
  • Prepare and file 1099 forms
  • Assist with month-end close activities
  • Respond to vendor inquiries in a timely and professional manner
  • Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
  • Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field preferred
  • Proficient with Microsoft Excel
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
