Temporary Accounts Payable Specialist 

Type: (Potential Temp-to-Perm Opportunity)

Location: Bridgewater, NJ (100% on-site)

Hourly: $27.00 - $32.00 per hour

LHH is working with a multi-location organization with operations across NJ, NY, and PA in their search for a dedicated Accounts Payable Specialist to join their finance team on a temporary basis, with potential for a long-term role.

This position is ideal for someone who is highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable with a routine workload primarily focused on invoice processing.

Responsibilities:

• Process high volumes of invoices daily.

• Ensure accuracy and consistency in documentation and data entry.

• Maintain strong organizational systems for managing supporting documents and approvals

• In addition to the core responsibilities, this role offers exposure to special projects that require critical thinking and ownership:

• Utility Account Transition: Assist or lead the migration of auto-debit utility accounts (across >150 locations) to a newly created bank account. This includes organizing provider information and streamlining vendor data.

• Vendor Profile Review: Help reconcile vendor data to ensure records are consistent, and manage W9 archival for active vendors.

Ideal Candidate:

• Is tech-comfortable, ideally with experience in AP software platforms

• Doesn’t shy away from tackling tedious or repetitive tasks, but also seeks opportunities to improve efficiency.

• Brings a team-player mindset, yet can work independently and take initiative when needed.

This is not a “clock-puncher” role. We are seeking someone who asks questions, sees patterns, and is motivated to contribute to smarter, more streamlined operations.
