We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Accounts Payable Specialist. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, excellent communication abilities, and experience processing high-volume invoices while maintaining accuracy and efficiency. This role is essential in ensuring timely vendor payments, proper coding, and smooth daily operations within the accounting department.

Key Responsibilities
- Process and review vendor invoices for accuracy, proper coding, and approval in accordance with company policies.
- Prepare weekly check runs, ACH payments, and wire transfers while ensuring timely and accurate disbursements.
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies through proactive communication with vendors and internal departments.
- Maintain and update AP files, records, and documentation for auditing, month-end close, and reporting purposes.
- Assist with month-end tasks including accruals, aging reports, and account reconciliations.
- 1-3 years of experience in accounts payable or general accounting required.
- Strong knowledge of basic accounting principles (GAAP preferred).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting/ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, JD Edwards, QuickBooks).
- Excellent attention to detail, accuracy, and ability to meet deadlines.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally.
- Experience with high-volume AP processing.
- Strong vendor relations and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with three-way matching and purchase order processes.
