LHH is assisting our client in their search for an Accounts Payable Specialist to join their permanent team in Tulsa, OK. The Accounts Payable Specialist is responsible for ensuring accurate and timely processing of vendor invoices, expense reports, and outgoing payments. This role plays a key part in maintaining strong vendor relationships, supporting the month-end close process, and ensuring adherence to internal controls. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and comfortable working in a fast-paced onsite environment.

Responsibilities
- Review, verify, and process vendor invoices with accurate GL and job-cost coding
- Perform 3-way match (invoice, PO, receiving documents) and resolve discrepancies
- Prepare and process payments, including checks, ACH, and wires
- Maintain and update vendor records, including W-9s and payment terms
- Reconcile vendor statements and respond promptly to vendor inquiries
- Monitor accounts to ensure timely payments and manage AP aging
- Assist with month-end close tasks such as accruals and reconciliations
- Support audits by providing required documentation
- 3-5 years of Accounts Payable experience
- Proficiency with accounting software such as QuickBooks Online or similar ERP systems
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and work independently
- Solid understanding of basic accounting principles
- Effective communication skills for working with vendors and internal teams
