Key Responsibilities
- Leadership & Supervision: Guide and mentor accounts payable associates, perform annual reviews, and foster professional growth.
- Accuracy & Efficiency: Maintain precise records, ensure timely completion of tasks, and oversee routine department activities.
- Collaboration & Communication: Work closely with management to hire and train new team members, and respond to staff requests promptly.
- Financial Management: Review vendor invoices, authorize payments, reconcile AP subledger and General Ledger balances, and handle agency purchasing.
- Compliance & Reporting: Ensure compliance with internal controls, prepare vendor 1099s, and conduct trainings for financial software.
- Cultural Competence: Connect with diverse populations and integrate cultural sensitivity into your work.

- Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
- Experience: Minimum of four years in accounts payable and supervisory roles.
- Skills: Proficient in MS Word and Excel, strong written and oral communication skills, excellent customer service abilities, and adept at multitasking under pressure.
- Knowledge: Thorough understanding of accounts payable and general accounting procedures, familiarity with accounting software is a plus.
- Physical Demands: Capable of performing tasks that involve frequent standing, bending, reaching, and lifting up to 50 pounds.
