General Job Description Position Summary: Kep Electric, a division of IES Residential, is seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Accounts Receivable (AR) Specialist to join our finance team in Amelia, OH. The role is responsible for ensuring timely and accurate invoicing, cash application, collections, and account reconciliation within Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365).
Key Responsibilities Generate, review, and process customer invoices in D365 accurately and on schedule.
Apply customer payments promptly and reconcile accounts to maintain up-to-date AR balances.
Monitor outstanding receivables and perform proactive collections to reduce aging and improve cash flow.
Research and resolve discrepancies related to invoices, payments, credits, and customer accounts.
Conduct compliance and audit checks to ensure invoicing and posting accuracy in alignment with company policies.
Collaborate with cross‑functional teams, including Billing, General Ledger, Project Management, and Sales.
Maintain organized, audit‑ready AR records and documentation.
Support month‑end and year‑end close activities related to AR, including reconciliations and reporting.
Recommend and assist in implementing improvements to AR processes and workflows for increased efficiency.
Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Minimum Years of Experience 2-4
Specific Qualifications Minimum of 2+ years of experience in accounts receivable, billing, or accounting roles.
Hands‑on experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations or another ERP system.
Strong knowledge of AR principles, cash application processes, and collections best practices.
Exceptional attention to detail with strong organizational and problem‑solving skills.
Ability to work independently while contributing effectively to a collaborative team environment.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including VLOOKUPs, PivotTables, and data manipulation.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, especially in customer‑facing interactions.
Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
Physical Requirements & Work Environment Office‑based environment with standard office equipment.
Ability to sit for extended periods while working at a computer workstation.
Frequent use of hands and fingers for typing, data entry, and operating office equipment.
Ability to occasionally lift and carry office materials weighing up to 15 pounds.
Visual ability to read financial data, reports, and computer screens accurately.
Ability to move throughout the office environment as needed.
