Department 

McCullough Law is seeking a part-time, Accounts Receivable and Payable Specialist to join our growing company. This role is focused on managing and maintaining all invoices sent from, and received by, the firm.  

Responsibilities: 

  • Manage and monitor accounts receivable processes, including issuing invoices and following up on overdue payments. 
  • Maintain retainer account and client retainer sub-ledgers. 
  • Reconcile customer accounts and resolve discrepancies. 
  • Answer invoice-related client questions. 
  • Prepare and process electronic transfers and payments. 
  • Process and manage accounts payable transactions, verifying and reconciling invoices. 
  • Maintain vendor records and handle vendor inquiries. 
  • Collaborate with departments firm wide to ensure smooth financial operations and an exceptional client experience. 

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in accounts receivable and/or accounts payable roles. 
  • Experience communicating directly with clients. 
  • Microsoft Suite proficiency. 
  • Familiarity with advanced Excel functions. 
  • Proficiency in accounting software (preferably QuickBooks). 
  • Exceptional verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills. 
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills. 
  • Must have professional appearance and demeanor. 
  • Strong analytical skills and problem-solving abilities. 

Benefits

Hourly Pay: $18 - $23 per hour DOE*
