In this role you'll own the full lifecycle of Workers' Compensation (WC) and Third-Party Liability (TPL) billing and collections from clean claims to cashwhile partnering closely with patients, payors, and internal stakeholders to resolve complex issues fast.What you'll do:Submit initial, corrected, and reconsidered WC/TPL claims with complete, accurate documentation.Work A/R proactively: track aging, follow up with payors, and drive timely payments.Resolve roadblocks: denials, rejections, underpayments, COB and liability disputes; ensure timely filing.Own denial management: investigate EOBs/ERAs, fix root causes, and secure reversals/adjustments.Educate and support patients/customers by phone and email with clear status updates and next steps.Interpret benefits (deductible, coinsurance, coverage); escalate high-dollar accounts to protect revenue.Support self-pay collections processes as needed to close the loop on outstanding balances.What you'll bring (Must-haves):1+ year medical insurance claims processing experience.Hands-on knowledge of Medicaid, Medicare, Commercial, Workers' Compensation, and TPL payer rules.Proven follow up / A/R management discipline and analytical problem solving skills.Insurance benefits fluency (deductible, coinsurance, COB, coverage interpretation).Associate's or Bachelor's in Business, Finance, Accounting, or Healthcare (HS Diploma required).Pay Details: $21.00 to $24.00 per hourSearch managed by: Joanna CalderonBenefit offerings available for our associates include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, additional voluntary benefits, EAP program, commuter benefits and a 401K plan.
