Are you ready to make a tangible impact by supporting those who protect and serve? Aretum is currently seeking an Acquisition Analyst II at Fort Belvoir. As part of our dynamic and cohesive team, you will contribute to the rapid delivery of cutting-edge protective gear, individual equipment, and aviation life support systems that give our soldiers the edge they need to execute their missions effectively.

Responsibilities

As an Acquisition Analyst II you will have the opportunity to be a critical part of the Army’s mission to enhance soldier survivability. In this role, you’ll leverage your expertise to support the Project Manager Soldier Survivability, ensuring the successful acquisition, delivery, and sustainment of essential equipment. Specific responsibilities include:

  • Provides comprehensive acquisition management support across an entire product line, ensuring seamless integration and execution.
  • Oversees and coordinates products and taskings throughout all acquisition process and lifecycle phases.
  • Supports the preparation, review, and staffing of all Milestone documentation, ensuring compliance and readiness.
  • Contributes to the development of contracting strategies, prepares contracting documents, and facilitates coordination with the Army Contracting Command.
  • Actively participates in Integrated Product Teams (IPTs), test events, reviews, and product demonstrations to drive successful outcomes.
  • Offers contract oversight for assigned products, ensuring adherence to requirements and timelines.
  • Assists in developing and managing program budgets and master schedules to meet program objectives.
  • Prepares Supply Request Packages for the Defense Logistics Agency and oversees the transition of products from PM to DLA or Army Sustainment.
  • Supports the development and drafting of Acquisition Strategies, Acquisition Plans, and other critical acquisition documentation.
  • Conducts financial reporting, status tracking, and fundamental logistics activities to maintain program efficiency.
  • Aids in acquisition planning by evaluating cost, schedule, and performance risks, ensuring informed decision-making.

Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree with 5+ years of relevant experience.
  • Experience in acquisition management across product lines and lifecycle phases.
  • Proficiency in preparing and staffing Milestone documentation and acquisition plans.
  • Knowledge of contracting strategies, document preparation, and coordination with Army Contracting Command.
  • Experience in source selection boards, technical evaluations, and contract oversight.
  • Skilled in program budget and schedule management, with ability to assess cost, schedule, and performance trade-offs.
  • Expertise in preparing Supply Request Packages and managing product transitions to sustainment organizations.
  • Familiarity with risk mitigation, configuration control, and acquisition planning.
  • Strong collaboration skills with contracting personnel and IPT participation.

Required Clearance:

  • Active Secret Clearance: US Citizenship is required to obtain and maintain this level of clearance.
