Acquisition Specialist with active TS/SCI clearance (Pipeline)

Acquisition Specialist with an active TS/SCI clearance, available to be onsite in Dahlgren, VA in support of our client. Note this position is contingent upon contract award. Primary Responsibilities Lead the Government client in conducting strategic requirements review, acquisition strategy development, Request for Proposal development, and in performing other related procurement tasks as required. Review requirements documents submitted by the Program Office to determine adequacy and sufficiency and make recommendations. Prepare solicitations, acquisition plans, source selection plans, and other documents required in accordance with regulatory and local guidance. Documents shall be accurate, current, and maintained up to date. Develop and prepare requirements documents (e.g., PWS, technical evaluation factors, performance plans, etc.). Prepare modifications for various contractual actions to include, but not limited to, contracts, purchase/delivery/Orders, blanket purchase agreements, indefinite delivery contracts, as necessary. Respond to Freedom of Information Requests and Protest actions. Advise and assist the Government in the full life cycle of acquisitions and serve as the Subject Matter Expert for all acquisition matters. Ideal Candidate Minimum clearance at TS/SCI level Excellent verbal and written communication skills Bachelor’s degree in business or related major Proficiency in the use of standard office software and applications (MS Office, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, etc.). Strong analytical and statistical skills. 8+ years of federal contracting experience, preferably at the DoD. DAWIA (Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act) or FAC-C (Federal Acquisition Certification in Contracting) level III certified. Extensive experience on complex, large efforts ($100M+).
