Duties

The duties listed are at the full performance level:

  • Performs a variety of program support, coordination, and implementation activities to support a range of acquisition coordination duties.
  • Responsible for entering all procurement packages.
  • Responsible for pulling reports to track progress of Procurement Packages and to work with field office customers to ensure submitted on time based on need by date to meet mission essential jobs.
  • Serves as the trainer for the NCAO, ensuring customers are up to date on process changes and requirements in procurement package requirements and preparation.
  • Prepares correspondence directed to management, and field office personnel concerning planning, direction, and execution of acquisitions being worked or planned.
  • Research and drafts responses to acquisition inquiries.
  • Collects program execution data, determines relevancy, and develops and enters data into electronic databases.
  • Accesses and maintains database information and prepares various reports, including reports reflecting status and variances of projected to actual expenditures and obligations.
  • Coordinates the preparation of schedules of work, identifying projected time for project accomplishment.

To qualify at the GS-07, you must possess one year of specialized experience equivalent in difficulty and complexity to at least the GS-05 grade level in the Federal service which includes but not limited to: Prepares correspondence directed to management, and field office personnel concerning planning, direction, and execution of acquisitions being worked or planned; Coordinates the preparation of schedules of work, identifying projected time for project accomplishment; Reviews and verifies reports to ensure projected workload is received in accordance with annual work plans; Collects program execution data, determines relevancy, and develops and enters data into electronic databases.

Education: One full year of graduate level education in a field which demonstrates the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to do the work of the position.

Superior Academic Achievement: Successful completion of all the requirements for a bachelor's degree with Superior Academic Achievement.
In order to be creditable under this provision, Superior Academic Achievement must have been gained in a curriculum that is qualifying for the position to be filled, such as that identified in Education above.

Superior Academic Achievement: Successful completion of all the requirements for a bachelor's degree with Superior Academic Achievement. In order to be creditable under this provision, Superior Academic Achievement must have been gained in a curriculum that is qualifying for the position to be filled, such as that identified in Education above. Education

This vacancy announcement allows substituting education for experience at the GS-07 and GS-09 grade levels.
