Huachuca, AZ (On-Site) Duration: Full Time/Direct Hire Pay Rate: $105,000 - $115,000 a year Summary Verigent is looking for a Active Directory Systems Administrator for the Military Intelligence Center of Excellence (MIITS Contract) support to G6 Systems Operations team. The Active Directory Systems Administrator is responsible for the end-to-end management, administration, and optimization of our data center environment. You will support a diverse infrastructure—spanning VMware, Linux and Windows environments, enterprise storage arrays, server hardware, GPU resources, and complex monitoring/automation systems—in a mission-critical military intelligence setting. The Systems Administrator will be responsible for the following but not limited to: Responsibilities Install, secure, and maintain Windows Server (2019/2022) systems and Active Directory environments Ensure security compliance for all Windows server based systems, including Security Technical Implementation Guide (STIG) and Information Assurance Vulnerability Management (IAVM) compliance Demonstrate strong troubleshooting skills to identify and resolve complex technical issues Effectively communicate with internal and external customers for technical support and to ensure compliance Required Qualifications / Education and Experience A bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 3 years relevant experience OR a Master’s degree with a minimum of 1 year of relevant experience; an additional 4 years of direct relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree requirement In depth knowledge of Active Directory environment to include Group Policy, Security Groups, Delegations, and Permissions to OUs and objects Advanced understanding of Server 2016 and 2022 Operating Systems An approved Microsoft certification and/or training OR the ability to obtain a Microsoft certification and/or training within first 6 months of hire A valid CompTIA Security+ CE certification (IAT II or higher) A current Top Secret security clearance with SCI eligibility Preferred Qualifications Experience with IIS Understanding of MS SQL 2019-2022 fundamentals Experience with MECM/WSUS Experience with MS Exchange Server Working knowledge of VMware Critical thinking, troubleshooting abilities, and the ability to quickly learn new concepts and technologies Experience with PowerShell scripts and utilizing command line interface Experience with Certificate Authorities including managing templates and issuing certificates using the Certificate Server web tool #J-18808-Ljbffr
