We have opportunities for a part-time Activity Assistant working three days per week plus every other Saturday. No early morning and not late nights. Earn at least $17/hour (more with experience and participate in our part-time benefits including paid-time off, employee assistance program, scholarship program and much more.
Days: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and every other Saturday
Time: 8:30- 5:00
Your work will include:
Aid residents in small or large-group activities
Promote resident interest in recreational activities such as arts/crafts, music, exercise, pet therapy, spiritual programs and resident socials
Gear activities to resident interest and capacity
Provide 1-1 visits with residents who prefer a personal room setting
Assist in documentation of activities and patient participation
Contribute to resident care planning
Maintain activity equipment and supplies
Other duties as assigned

No previous experience required but a commitment to providing care, companionship and excellent communication in a care setting is imperative. High school diploma or GED required. Ability to read, write and speak English is required, as well as the ability to lift at least 25 pounds, as well as mobility that allows for supporting our residents by pushing wheelchairs, bending, stooping and/or kneeling.
