The Insurance Pricing Team understands the importance of collaboration and displays a continued drive to achieve our goals. The team is focused on managing the Insurance portfolio to ensure continued profitable growth and developing talent to ultimately deliver the best outcomes for AXA XL’s customers. What You’ll Be DOING In this role you will support the Actuary for North America Large Commercial Property. You will work closely with North American underwriters, management and senior actuarial colleagues in North America and Europe as part of a global team. The successful candidate will be highly driven, able to effectively communicate across functions with technical skills to support evolving pricing and analytic needs to drive profitability and growth. Your Key Responsibilities Will Include Providing guidance for underwriters in the effective use of pricing models. Individual account pricing – calculating technical premiums and other key metrics and communicating the results to underwriters. Designing and producing management information to assist underwriters and the management team. Developing and maintaining Property pricing dashboards. Ensure efficiency of pricing processes. Support rating algorithm reviews, development, testing, documentation and maintenance. Auditing and, where appropriate, challenging the rate change and profitability metrics being recorded. What You Will BRING Degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or related field. Experience with coding in R or other statistical programming languages. Willingness to take actuarial exams with the intention to qualify. Experience of non‑life insurance pricing, preferably Property Lines is beneficial. Good written and verbal communication skills. Ability and willingness to collaborate across teams. Enthusiastic individual who is keen to learn and develop.
