Summary The Actuarial Analyst is responsible for performing specific actuarial related tasks under general supervision. Actuarial areas include but are not limited to valuations, financial reporting and forecasting, trend analytics, and pricing. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Perform routine tasks, basic analyses and reasonableness testing. Prepare actuarial exhibits and regular reports as directed utilizing corporate financial data. Learn, use and implement basic programming and maintain analytical programs with limited direction. Utilize data management and structure techniques with limited direction and oversight. With guidance, present completed work and related implication to team members and internal clients. Participate in miscellaneous special projects to obtain exposure to various actuarial disciplines and techniques. Remain current on actuarial techniques, seek development and improvement opportunities and understand corporate/cross‑functional objectives and cultural beliefs. Education and Experience Bachelor's degree in Actuarial Science or related area. Zero (0) to one (1) year related actuarial experience. Earned at least one (1) course credit towards the attainment of the ASA designation and is a member, in good standing, of the corporate Actuarial Student Program. Qualifications To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
