Overview Actuarial Technical Analyst I (Hybrid or Remote) Date: Jul 13, 2026 Location: Webster, MA, US Company: MAPFRE Summary: Join our Actuarial Market Pricing team, where you’ll collaborate closely with IT rating teams to program and validate insurance product rates and related services. This role combines business insight with technical expertise, requiring proficiency in Python and SQL to deliver innovative solutions. Responsibilities Review business requirements and IT specifications throughout product deployment. Develop, test, and debug insurance products within the Earnix platform. Create, run, and optimize SQL queries in a cloud environment. Maintain clear, concise documentation and ensure compliance with governance standards. Gain deep knowledge of premium calculations and become a rating expert. Continuously improve existing processes for efficiency and scalability. Detect and resolve data anomalies and errors during analysis. Apply insurance terminology accurately in analysis and communication. Provide regular status updates to the Market Pricing Project Manager. Qualifications Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Analytics and Programming. Experience: 2+ years of experience writing complex queries in SQL or Python. Experience with Earnix platform is a plus. Background in Homeowners or Auto insurance preferred. Strong understanding of coding efficiency and dynamic programming techniques. Ability to work independently on complex tasks while thriving in a collaborative team environment. Exceptional problem-solving skills with the ability to draw actionable insights from data. Highly organized, detail-oriented, and committed to accuracy.
