Mendota Health is a leading provider of mobile wound care services. We specialize in helping patients heal their wounds by providing the best possible treatment options in the comfort of their own home. Our service areas include:

• MN: Saint Cloud, Monticello, Maple Grove, Rogers, Elk River

In this role you will travel as needed to any of our service areas to provide advanced wound care to patients in their own home. Upon hire, you will be required to obtain a license in all of our service area states. Travel and licensing expenses will be reimbursed by the company.

Responsibilities include:

• Travel as needed to various states to cover for time off and vacant positions
• Provide mobile advanced wound care to patients in home setting
• Comply with all Mendota wound care guidelines and documentation requirements
• Complete all medical records within 24 hours of visit, submits orders on same calendar day of visit
• Function independently to perform a history and physical examination
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests relative to the patients needs
• Prescribe appropriate pharmacologic and non-pharmacologic treatments
• Implements interventions to heal the patients wounds
• Provide wound care in accordance with Mendota Health policies, state regulations, and federal regulations
• Facilitate transfer of care when appropriate

Education and Experience

• Graduate of an accredited nurse practitioner program
• A clinical background in adult, family, or geriatric specialties preferred
• Wound care experience a plus
• Licensed in coverage states or willingness to obtain
