Job Description:
EXPERIENCE:
- Must have 3-5 years of experience in Additive Manufacturing (3D Printing) Titan 3D printer
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Create efficient STL 3D print files Develop 3D printing processes that are manufacturing ready.
- Create new products on our varied composites, textile, coating, foam, and additive manufacturing technologies.
- Test newly created products Test raw materials Document processing conditions. test results, and other critical-to-quality data.
- Develop best practice SOP's, WI's, etc. for AM processes.
- Generate optimized build files to produce high quality parts in minimum time with maximum consistency.
- Monitor builds on a varying schedule.
- Research new 3D printable materials and leverage those materials into new technical products.
- Other duties as assigned.
KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES:
- Working knowledge of all 3D Printing processes (existing and emerging).
- Working knowledge of Solidworks, Rhino, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Eager to learn and explore advanced 3D composites, textile processes, and other AM processes.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Effective team player, with strong critical-thinking skills.
EDUCATION:
- Bachelor of Science Degree from an accredited institution, with a concentration in a relevant materials science discipline.
- Equivalent experience may be considered in lieu of degree.
