Location Alfred, NY Category Adjunct Bargaining Unit - UUP Posted On Tue Apr 7 2026 Job Description Expectations of adjunct faculty include preparing and delivering comprehensive classroom instruction in diagnostic medical sonography courses, including theoretical concepts and scanning protocols. The instructor should be able to demonstrate ultrasound techniques, supervise students in laboratory settings, evaluate student competencies, and maintain current knowledge of sonographic practices and technologies. Adjunct Faculty Responsibilities Course organization and preparation Grading student content in a timely manner Being available to students outside of class when questions arise Job Requirements Minimum Qualifications: Graduate of accredited program and/or AAS degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography ARDMS Abdomen and OB/GYN credential Minimum three years of clinical experience Preferred Qualifications Bachelor's or master's degree in a related medical field is a plus Teaching experience is a plus Visa Sponsorship Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
