Adjunct Instructor In Neonatal/Pediatric Respiratory Therapy LabIvy Tech Community College seeks an experienced and dedicated Registered Respiratory Therapist to serve as an Adjunct Instructor in our Neonatal/Pediatric Respiratory Therapy Lab. This team-taught lab offers students hands-on instruction in critical care procedures for neonates and children. The successful candidate will bring clinical expertise, a passion for teaching, and a commitment to student success.Major Responsibilities:Deliver engaging, skills-based instruction in a lab settingCo-instruct with another experienced RT educatorGuide students in neonatal/pediatric assessment, procedures, and equipment useProvide individualized coaching, evaluation, and feedbackMaintain lab safety, organization, and equipment readinessCollaborate with program faculty and leadership to support student learningWhy Ivy Tech?Flexible schedule: Teach only 2 days per week in a supportive team-teaching modelProfessional development: Access to faculty resources and educator trainingMission-driven environment focused on community, equity, and student successMinimum Qualifications:Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credentialCurrent Indiana OR Kentucky Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) licenseMinimum of four (4) years of clinical experience in respiratory careStrong communication skills and commitment to inclusive, student-focused instructionPreferred Qualifications (not required):Experience in neonatal and/or pediatric respiratory care (strongly preferred)Previous teaching, precepting, or clinical instruction experienceCertifications such as NPS, PALS, or NRPBachelor's or higher degree in a health-related fieldIvy Tech Community College is an accredited, equal opportunity/affirmative action employer.
