Our mission is grounded in the belief that everyone deserves stable, affordable housing and a voice in the future of their community.Position SummaryThe Administrative Manager serves as the operational hub of the Community Land Trust of Western North Carolina (CLTWNC). This role combines precise financial management with broad administrative support to ensure our organization runs efficiently. The ideal candidate is a proactive problem-solver who is equally comfortable managing books in QuickBooks as they are drafting a grant report, coordinating community events, or assisting with housing stewardship. Reports to: Executive Director Workplace Location: In-person, Old Fort, NCPosition Details: Start Part-Time (20-25 hrs/week), with expected transition to full-time. $5,000/monthKey Responsibilities Bookkeeping & Financial Administration Day-to-Day Accounting Payroll & HR Support Reconciliation & Reporting Audit Prep Homeowner File Maintenance Insurance & Tax Compliance Grant ManagementOrganizational Administration & Governance Board Support Donor Database Maintenance Office Management Grant Compliance Event LogisticsQualifications 1. Experience: Administrative or office management experience Minimum - 2+ years in similar role Preferred - 5+ years in a non-profit or community organization2. Financial Literacy: Familiarity with basic non-profit accounting principles Minimum - Familiar with QuickBooks Online Preferred - Advanced experience with QuickBooks Online3. Tech Savvy: Familiarity with modern office management tools Minimum - Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace. Preferred - Experience with Customer Resource Management databases (Salesforce/HomeKeeper)4. Detail-Oriented: Ability to manage complex filing systems and track deadlines5. Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to interact compassionately with diverse community members, including low-income homeowners.6.
