DESCRIPTION OF WORK

This position primarily aims to offer administrative support to the staff of Forest District 10 in Sproul State Forest, Bureau of Forestry.
It involves preparing personnel, purchasing, and budget documents for the Forest District Manager's approval.
You will interpret Bureau and Department procedures and policies to establish internal guidelines for ensuring compliance among District personnel.
Additionally, you will suggest and implement procedures to enhance the management of the District Office, making it more efficient and effective.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:

  • Full-time employment
  • Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with 30-minute lunch.
  • Overtime and travel as needed.
  • Salary: In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY

QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:

  • Such training as may have been gained through graduation from a four year college or university or any equivalent combination of experience and training.
  • Applicants will be considered to have met the educational requirements once they are within 3 months of graduating with a qualifying degree.
