Description
The Kentucky Board of Pharmacy is hiring an Administrative Assistant that provides support in the review, evaluation, development, and implementation of agency's functions. The Kentucky Board of Pharmacy serves the Commonwealth to promote, preserve, and protect the public health, safety, and welfare through effective regulation of the practice of Pharmacy.

Job Duties include but not limited to the following:
  • Primary point of contact with public.
  • Answers inquiries and provides detailed information on office inquiries.
  • Monitors the board email account.
  • Distributes incoming mail or other incoming material to office staff.
  • Receives notices and applications from licensees, registrants and applicants.
  • Processes them according to office policy and workflow, including scanning and attaching all correspondence to the proper record in the database or to the proper file in the master files.
  • Receives and posts checks received for applications, renewals, fines, and miscellaneous.
  • Reconciles the checks and ledger to submit to fiscal manager for CR document/deposit.
  • Processes various forms and documentation submitted to the Board by licensees according to the appropriate office policy and workflow.
  • License Verifications complete license verifications upon request of applicant or via website.
  • Other duties as assigned.
