Part-Time Administrative Assistant – Brookline Village

O’BOY Properties | $25–$35/hr | 8–12 hrs/week (flexible)

 

O’BOY Properties is a small boutique apartment rental company offering furnished and unfurnished, short-term and annual housing.
We primarily serve the medical community in the greater Boston area and manage about 100 residents

All of out Properties are located in Brookline Village 

 

We’re seeking a highly motivated, independent, and organized Administrative Assistant to support the owner directly in managing day-to-day operations.
Most work is in-person in Brookline Village, with some remote flexibility. Initial hours may exceed 8 to 10 hours per week during sometimes more sometimes less

 

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

  • Communicate directly with the owner: assist with email, follow-up, and ongoing coordination
  •  
  • Manage QuickBooks: handle accounts payable/receivable, reconcile balances
  • Monitor rent collections, lease renewals, and notices
  •  
  • Be able to learn the Buildium App site to an expert level
  • As Buildiium Is our primary communication tool?
  •  
  • DocuSign, and other real estate tools
  •  
  • Provide timely research and updates on leases and resident issues
  • Assist with strategic planning and help organize operational tasks
  • Navigate the fluid nature of short-term housing logistics

 

 

Ideal Candidate:

 

  • Self-starter with a task-organized and strategic mindset
  • Strong computer, accounting, and organizational skills !!
  • Great verbal communicator and command of the English language
  • Experience with QuickBooks, Buildium, and property management processes
  • Comfortable juggling multiple priorities and working independently
  • we are hoping to fill this position as soon as possible as my current administrative assistant is retired after 20 years!
