AG is seeking a highly organized and dependable Administrative Assistant to assist with our office operations for our Commercial-Industrial Contracting business. This key role supports the executive team and ensures the office runs smoothly by managing a wide range of administrative, accounting, and HR-related tasks. The ideal candidate will be proactive and must have strong organizational skills. This role requires attention to detail and experience with QuickBooks Online.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct administrative support for executive
- Assist with weekly payroll
- Assist with accounts payable (invoice entry) and accounts receivable (client invoicing)
- Serve as the primary point of contact for incoming calls, emails, and visitors; direct inquiries to appropriate team members
- Prepare monthly reports
- Organize and maintain office files
- Assist with general HR functions, including new hire paperwork and benefits tracking
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of office experience at a construction company preferred
- Associate or Bachelor’s degree in business or construction management, or related field preferred
- Proficiency in QuickBooks Online, Microsoft Excel and Outlook.
- Strong organizational and attention to detail
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism
- Understanding of construction terminology is preferred
