Client is seeking a detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to support the Accounts Payable team with Fiscal Year-end activities. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, familiarity with accounting principles, and experience in a hospital environment.
Key Responsibilities- Organize, file, retrieve, and maintain vendor payment files and other records.
- Provide general information to staff, departments, and vendors.
- Prepare and scan vendor payment documents into the digital filing system.
- Handle and distribute daily mail and correspondence for the Business Office.
- Reconcile Accounts Payable documents, invoices, and statements.
- Maintain accurate Accounts Payable records.
- Perform general office duties, including scanning, copying, and mail management.
- Collaborate effectively in a team setting.
- Perform other related tasks as assigned by the supervisor.
Required:
- Proficiency with office equipment (scanning, copying).
- Familiarity with accounting and Accounts Payable terminology.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
Preferred:
- Experience working in a hospital environment.
- Attention to detail and ability to handle sensitive information.
