Once a part of Kenrick-Glennon Seminary's campus, the Cardinal Rigali Center in Shrewsbury, MO is today the headquarters and curia (governing body) for the Archdiocese of St. Louis.Job SummaryThis position plays a vital role in the smooth and efficient operation of the school office. This position provides administrative support to school leadership, maintains student and staff records, and serves as the first point of contact for students, parents, and visitors.Job ResponsibilitiesFront Office Duties:Greet and assist students, parents, and visitors in a professional and friendly mannerAnswer and route incoming calls and messagesMaintain a neat and welcoming office environmentAdministrative Support:Provide clerical and administrative support to the principal and school staffManage calendars, schedule appointments, and coordinate meetingsPrepare and distribute correspondence, newsletters, and reportsStudent and Staff Records:Maintain accurate student attendance and enrollment recordsProcess student registration, transfers, and withdrawalsAssist with data entry into school management systemsCommunication:Serve as liaison between school staff, parents, and the communityDisseminate important information regarding school events and schedulesHandle confidential information with discretionOperational Support:Monitor and order office and classroom suppliesAssist with preparation of school events, such as parent-teacher conferences and assembliesJob RequirementsStandard school office settingMay require extended hours during busy periods or eventsInteraction with children, parents, faculty, and district staffThe Archdiocese of St. Louis is an Equal Opportunity Employer and prohibits discrimination and harassment of any kind.
