Northern Dental Group is seeking an organized and proactive Administrative Assistant to support our dental team in providing high-quality care to our patients. In this role, you will be responsible for managing office tasks, coordinating schedules, and ensuring that the operations of the dental office run smoothly. Your attention to detail and ability to multitask will play a crucial role in maintaining an efficient work environment. You will interact with patients, assist with their inquiries, and facilitate communication between the dental staff and the patients. Responsibilities

  • Manage office communications, including phone calls, emails, and patient inquiries
  • Schedule appointments and maintain the dental team’s calendar
  • Prepare and manage patient records and documentation
  • Assist with billing and insurance verification
  • Coordinate office supplies and inventory management
  • Provide administrative support for dental staff as needed
  • Ensure a welcoming and organized office environment

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree in business administration or related field is a plus
  • Previous experience in administrative support or office management, preferably in a healthcare setting
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with dental software preferred
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy
  • Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment
