The Tuscaloosa VA Federal Credit Union is looking for an experienced and motivated administrative assistant. As an administrative assistant at the Tuscaloosa VA Federal Credit Union, you will perform a wide range of duties to service back-office activities. You will be responsible for all human resource functions including biweekly and monthly payroll, administering health, dental, life, AD&D insurance, helping employees with benefit information, monitoring training on BAI, and managing 401(k) enrollment and contributions. You will also be responsible for administrative duties including marketing initiatives (social media management, in person events, etc.), the creation of monthly Board packages, and management of employee files alongside other confidential information. Other various administrative tasks are also occasionally required for this position including miscellaneous filing, meeting preparation, providing audit information, and more.
