Administrative Coordinator Medical Records (Follow-Up Manager Program)AMI is seeking an Administrative Coordinator Medical Records (Follow-Up Manager Program) to assist with the daily management of incidental findings requiring notification and coordination of follow up care with referring providers and patients. The Administrative Coordinator will monitor and act on incidental findings found on imaging to ensure patients receive recommended care. AMI offers a generous compensation and benefits package including medical, prescription, dental, vision, flexible spending accounts, Paid Time Off (PTO), Paid Holidays, 401k and Profit sharing and the opportunity to work in an exciting and progressive outpatient practice. Offered rates increase based on years of work experience. The Administrative Coordinator - Medical Records (Follow Up Manager) is responsible for, but not limited to:Manages incidental findings through the Nuance Follow Up Manager Database;Works closely with physicians and administrators to ensure follow up service recommendations are completed timely and efficiently;Prepares and distributes communications in written form via fax or mail;Performs outbound calls to follow-up on receipt of results and findings;Assists with the scheduling of patients for follow-up;Performs appropriate follow-up to ensure follow-up care is received;Communicates with all necessary contacts to obtain outstanding reports and imaging;Collects patient and procedure information;Acts as the practice liaison to facilitate patient care and ensure referrer satisfaction;Provides feedback on workflow, patient experience, and referrer experience;Troubleshoots technical and workflow challenges; andAny other duties and responsibilities as assigned.This full time, 40 hour per week position includes a work schedule of Monday-Friday 8am-4:30pm. The position is based in AMI's Corporate Office location in West Atlantic City. Schedules are subject to change based on business needs.QualificationsCandidates must have a high school diploma or equivalent; some college coursework is a plus. Medical Assistant certification, or other healthcare professional certification is preferred. To be successful in this role, a thorough understanding of anatomy and medical terminology is required. Relevant work experience is required. Strong computer skills, experience using Microsoft Excel & Word, and the ability to adapt quickly to changing technologies is required. The individual selected for this role will be expected to learn and utilize RIS, PACS, Nuance - Follow Up Manager Database, digital faxing, Powerscribe and other programs as needed. Candidates must be highly organized and demonstrate accuracy in all aspects of the work. This position requires communication with patients and an excellent phone presence, strong written and verbal communication skills, and interpersonal skills are required.
