Administrative Professional, South Campus QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor’s degree or appropriate certificate of training preferred. Must be proficient in Microsoft Office. High level of confidentiality required. Excellent professional etiquette and hospitality skills. Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment with flexibility and accuracy. Must be a good team player. RESPONSIBILITIES Greet guests, direct phone calls, and maintain a professional appearance of the South campus. Schedule and reserve all training rooms and event spaces as requested. Prepare event sheets and add them to the Meridian Technology Center Facilities Calendar for all campus activities. Serve as a liaison for outside groups utilizing the facility; provide approved vendor/caterer contact information, usage guidelines, confirm event details, prepare contracts, etc. Prepare and email invoices immediately following events. Initiate invoice as needed for training. Serve as bursar – receipting all money and preparing daily deposit. Enroll students utilizing the student information system. Prepare and send confirmation letters for courses. Check in and out materials and keys to instructors. Prepare and submit reports as requested by the Campus Director. Mail catalogs and course descriptions as requested. Prepare requisitions, instructor contracts, time sheets, and monthly payroll memo. Maintain orderly files. Be able to work cooperatively with other Meridian Technology Center staff as needed to professionally meet position expectations. Abide by all policies and procedures adopted by the MTC Board of Education. Promote Meridian Technology Center, its programs, and employees at every available opportunity. Actively support and model MTC’s Culture of Excellence by demonstrating a commitment to the Standards of Excellence, continuous improvement initiatives, collaboration, innovation, and delivering high‑quality service to students, staff, and the community. PHYSICAL DEMANDS Must be able to stand and walk for long periods of time. Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds at times. This would require the ability to push a cart, lift files, open filing cabinets and bend, sit or stand as necessary. WORK HOURS Monday through Friday 8 a.m. - 4:30 p.m., with a 30‑minute lunch. (Hours subject to change. Additional evening and weekend hours as needed.) 12‑month position STANDARDS OF PERFORMANCE The Administrative Professional, South Campus, will be evaluated on the previously listed responsibilities to determine satisfactory compliance.
