Duties You will serve as a Senior Contract Specialist/Limited Warranted Contracting Officer in the Contracts Department. You will ensure performance of all necessary actions for effective contracting, ensuring compliance with the terms of the contract, and safeguarding the interests of the United States in its contractual relationships. You will be soliciting, evaluating, negotiating, and awarding contracts with commercial organizations, educational institutions, nonprofit organizations, and State or Local governments for furnishing supplies and services and/or construction. You will manage functional areas of contract management, including contract formation, drafting and issuing solicitations, negotiations, cost and price analysis, award, contract administration, termination and close-out of various contract vehicles. You will perform administration of federal financial assistance tools including pre-award, award, post-award, and close-out functions in support of various financial assistance program with various legal authorities and statutory requirements. You will award and administer various contract and financial assistance actions, such as: Simplified Acquisitions, Firm Fixed Price contracts, Cost reimbursable contracts, Professional/non-Professional Services, Supply, Research and Development.
