Congregation Or Chadash of Damascus, MD seeks Administrator

We are looking for a dynamic and engaging Administrator for our Reform synagogue.

The person would be expected to be present at least one hour before Religious School as well as be present during and after religious school hours until children are picked up. Religious School is Sunday mornings 9:30am-12:00pm and Tuesday evenings, 6:30pm-8:00pm, September - May, following the secular school calendar. In addition, there are "behind-the scenes" hours which have flexibility as to the exact schedule. The position is salaried, but we expect approximately 15 hours a week.

Some of the responsibilities include:
-managing schedules and regular communication with Rabbi, parents, and teachers
-ensuring classes have sufficient materials, including maintaining substitute teachers
-supporting teachers
-organizing all school events
-help with synagogue mailings
