The Opportunity

The CAPSLOCK Growth Team is responsible for Admissions, Marketing, and Business Improvement. We have an exciting opportunity for an Admissions Manager to join the team.

In your role as Admissions Manager, you are responsible for the success of our Admissions (Sales) pipeline, nurturing and converting prospects to meet B2C & B2B enrolment targets. You will work closely with the Head of Growth on continuous improvement, and oversee and develop our Admissions Coordinator.

Were looking for someone who is excited about making a difference and working within a social impact-orientated organisation. Youll be working within a fast-paced start-up environment where you will contribute to a wide range of projects. CAPSLOCK is a fully-remote company, so you can either work from home or remotely, but must be based in the UK.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Work with the Head of Growth and Business Improvement Manager to continuously improve the admissions journey, increasing conversion at each stage of the funnel. Work closely with the Head of Growth on aligning activity with department objectives.
  • Own the day-to-day management of our prospect and applicant pipelines through our CRM Hubspot. Ensure time and energy is spent effectively to nurture and convert prospects to applicants to enrolled learners.
  • Continuously assess our Admissions communications and channels through delivery of a testing plan and make recommendations to drive innovation in how, when, and what we communicate at different stages.
  • Regularly analyse and report on sales funnel data, deriving insights to feed into our marketing activity. Analyse activity through data and analytics platforms and feed into on-going strategy development. Regularly update cohort forecasting against agreed OKRs.
  • Manage and have oversight of our Admissions Coordinator.
  • Work with the Digital Marketing Manager on the planning and execution of lead generation campaigns. Brief them on Admissions-related content to feed our marketing channels.
  • Work with the Digital Marketing Manager on the creation of Admissions-related content for our website, including FAQs. Work with the Digital Marketing Manager and Business Improvement Manager on improvements to the website to increase conversions at each stage of the funnel.
  • Attend key virtual events including first days, graduations, and open events as needed. Where appropriate, attend in-person events to support on lead generation.
  • Plan and undertake continuous professional and personal development activities, including keeping up with market trends and innovation, to support company growth.
  • Perform any other reasonable request made by the Head of Growth.

What we are looking for in you:

  • Experience of managing the sales funnel fora training provider/education institution, or for a start-up/scale-up organisation.
  • Hands-on experience of using Hubspot or similar, to manage sales pipelines, including automation and reporting.
  • Ability to use data and analytics platforms to create data-led optimisation plans, analyse performance, and produce regular reports and recommendations.
  • Experience of people-management.
  • Highly organised with an eye for detail.
  • Excellent English communication skills.
  • Pro-active attitude and the ability to use your own initiative.
  • Happy and able to work from home remotely, within a fast-paced start-up environment where you can contribute to a wide range of projects.
