Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Adult Reconstructive Orthopedic Surgeon specializing in hip and knee procedures to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional medical and surgical care to adults with hip and knee musculoskeletal conditions. You will utilize your extensive training in reconstructive surgeries and nonsurgical treatments to diagnose, treat, and manage conditions, deformities, diseases, and injuries related to the hip and knee joints. Staying current with the latest advancements in orthopedic care is essential to deliver the highest quality outcomes for our patients.
Duties:
1. Diagnose and treat a range of conditions related to hip and knee joints, using both surgical and nonsurgical methods.
2. Consult with patients to formulate the most effective treatment plan, taking into consideration various factors such as medical history, age, lifestyle, and profession.
3. Conduct routine follow-ups with the patients to monitor their recovery, adjusting treatment plans as necessary.
4. Perform surgery, implant prosthetics, and carry out other forms of intervention to alleviate pain and improve the patients' quality of life.
5. Work in collaboration with other healthcare professionals, such as physical therapists, to ensure comprehensive post-op care.
6. Stay abreast of the latest advancements in hip and knee reconstructive surgery, incorporating new techniques and technologies into practice where applicable.
7. Maintain patient records and documents procedures meticulously.
8. Participate in research studies and attending conferences regularly to enhance professional knowledge and expertise.
9. Educate patients and their families on post-surgical care, potential risks, and precautions.
10. Adhere to all local and national medical guidelines and protocols, enforcing cleanliness, safety, and the highest standards of patient care.
Other Requirements:
- Board Certified or Eligible
- Residency/Fellowship Training in Recon Surgery (Knee & Hip)
- AZ State MD/DO License (Or able to obtain)
