Under the general supervision of the Director and the direct supervision of the Shift Manager, the Advanced Emergency Medical Technician is responsible for emergency care of patients transported on assigned shifts, with flexible schedules. Completion of a certification course of study to allow applicant to sit for AEMT certification exam for the State of Tennessee required. Current Class D Tennessee Drivers License. Current Basic Life Support card from American Heart Association or equivalent. Incumbents are subject to overtime and call back as required by the Director or designated person. Employee is subject to call back and overtime as required by the hospital.
