About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Advanced Practice Provider Educator to support the clinical development, onboarding, and ongoing education of Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants in an acute-care hospital setting. This is a highly collaborative, non-shift-based leadership role focused on education, quality, and professional growth.


Key Responsibilities

  • Educate and mentor new and existing NPs/PAs on clinical standards, procedures, and best practices
  • Develop, manage, and sign off on clinical competencies
  • Support APP onboarding and credentialing, including delineation of privileges
  • Deliver education through lectures, simulations, and online resources
  • Develop evidence-based standards, policies, and procedures
  • Serve as an ongoing clinical resource across departments
  • Collaborate with medical staff, nursing leadership, and administration
  • Provide education related to billing, coding, and compliance


Requirements

  • Licensed Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant (NY State)
  • Current national certification
  • Minimum 5 years of clinical experience
  • BLS and ACLS required
  • Strong clinical knowledge and communication skills
  • Education, training, or simulation experience preferred


Compensation & Benefits

💰 Salary range: $127,000 – $189,000 annually
