The Opportunity : The University of Central Florida is seeking an experienced Advancement Data Management Specialist III to assist with data maintenance by importing event registrations, biographical batches, online profiles, and other various types of data updates. Responsibilities: Clean up and process import files and exceptions. Process post-event attendance exceptions and partner with staff across Advancement for their event submissions. Perform audits on imports and update documentation to current regulations and standards. Process biographical updates and revenue batches as needed to support the gift processing team. Manage digital system profiles generated by on‑line donor/alumni activity. Complete assigned data cleanup projects and recommend additional projects based on daily work. Process free and paid event registrations utilizing the various processes available as needed. Make individual updates as requested by campus partners. Maintain familiarity with internal data sources such as Registrar, Admissions, academic departments and programs, athletics, etc. as well as external resources such as web‑based search engines, professional search services, NCOA (National Change of Address) and the U.S. Postal Service to ensure accurate data. Minimum Qualifications : High School Diploma or Equivalent and 4+ years of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience pursuant to Fla. Stat. 112.219(6) . Preferred Qualifications : Associate or bachelor’s degree in a related field. Experience with data management and database systems, preferably in a higher education or non‑profit setting. Familiarity with Blackbaud products, including BBIS (Blackbaud Internet Solutions) and Blackbaud CRM. Experience with event registration systems and processes. Knowledge of NCOA (National Change of Address) and other data hygiene processes. Familiarity with web‑based search engines and professional search services. The most successful candidates may possess the following qualities: Proficiency with data import and export processes. Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills. Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Special Instructions to the Applicants: Advancement and Partnerships values the unique contributions that each team member brings to our division. The anticipated hourly rate for a well‑qualified candidate is $22.57–$24.86 ($47,133–$51,899 annually). The final determination of a successful candidate's starting salary will vary based on several factors, including education and relevant experience. The anticipated pay scale indicated for this position generally applies to candidates who meet the minimum requirements and several of the preferred qualifications outlined above. All offers are contingent on successful background and reference screens. All applicants must be authorized to work for any U.S. employer. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position, and the university cannot accommodate H‑1B transfers or employment‑based visa processing for individuals currently sponsored by another employer.
