Aerial Coax/Fiber Lineman

Previous experience as a CATV lineman. Knowledge of CATV construction

Requirements:

• Experience with CATV/Broadband construction specifications
• Must have experience placing strand, coax, and fiber
• Familiar with operation of a bucket truck
• Ability to climb poles with hooks and belts
• Must be able to read and understand prints
• Capable of lifting 85lbs at a full range of motion
• Able to perform all duties in telecommunications construction (such as pole transfer, maintenance builds, new build, cable installation, over lash, and strand construction)
• Safely use hand tools and equipment (such as wrenches, drills, ladders, lanyards, saws, lashers, climbing hooks, and more)
• Must have a valid Driver’s License
• Must be able to pass pre-employment background check, motor vehicle record check, drug test, and job related physical
• Some overnight hours are required
• Must be able to work all over the St. Louis, MO metropolitan area.
