Aerospace Inventory SpecialistThe Aerospace Inventory Specialist supports aerospace operations by managing inventory, processing incoming and outgoing materials, and maintaining safe, organized warehouse environments. Duties include receiving, stocking, order fulfillment, shipping, and handling sensitive or regulated materials in compliance with safety standards.Key responsibilities include:Unload and verify incoming goods.Process documentation and transactions.Stage materials for stocking or dispatch.Inventory Management:Maintain accurate computerized inventory records.Fulfill orders by picking and staging parts or kits.Perform cycle counts and resolve inventory discrepancies.Store items per company standards; ensure compliance with regulations.Maintain clean, organized, and safe workspaces.Shipping & Dispatch:Prepare and process shipping documents.Package and ship domestic/international orders.Assist with pickups, deliveries, and counter service at stocking locations.Other Duties:Build shipping crates/boxes; operate reprographics equipment.Support Vendor Managed Materials (VMM) and other business needs.May require specialized training for packaging, handling, and transporting sensitive equipment, dangerous goods, and ordnance.Must be able to travel, work overtime, and support all shifts as required.Required Education: High School/GEDRequired Years of Experience: Minimum of 2 years of related work experienceBasic Qualifications:Experience operating Powered Industrial Trucks such as forklifts, lift-trucks, pallet-jacks, and other material handling equipment.Experience with inventory management systems.Able to work with frequently changing priorities and be a motivated self-starter.Ability to operate company vehicles.Ability to work on feet and climb stairs or ladders as required.Capable of lifting, pushing, pulling, and carrying objects a maximum of 50 lbs.Ability to obtain and maintain an active DoD TS/SCI clearance. US citizenship is required.Must be able to work 1st shift (or 2nd shift) during training and may adjust to another work schedule based on payload, launch demand, and union seniority, with the ability to work overtime, weekends and nights when requested.Candidates must possess a valid driver's license and personal transportation to drive between work locations on a military base where public transportation is not available.
