Job Description:
-
Performs Stress analysis for Aircraft Primary Structures using Classical analysis methods and Finite Element (FE) methods, following industry standard calculation methods, both for Static (Strength & Stability) and Fatigue and Damage Tolerance analysis methods.

Designs structural repairs and conducts static strength analysis.

Perform analysis and assessment of structural repairs and modifications, assuring the structure maintains the required capability.

Experience with Metallic and composite structural analysis methods.

Prepare Stress Analysis Reports & develop analysis packages.
Required Skills:
-
Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics, or chemistry (e.g., Bachelor).

8 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g., PhD, Master+5 years' related work experience).
Desired Skills:
-
Experience with aircraft structural repair design and analysis (fuselage monocoque and wing experience especially)

Experience with Boeing's structural analysis tools (e.g., CSW, DTANAL etc.,) is a plus.

Experienced in technical writing.

Good organizational skills are important (prioritizing multiple tasks and able to provide detailed status on work in progress, for example).

Knowledge of repair concepts including repair station processes, component repair concepts, procedures, and warranty processes and contractual agreements.
