JOB TITLE: Aerospace Quality Inspector

LOCATION: Oldsmar, FL

PAY RATE: Up to $23.00 per hour

Summary:

• Conduct visual inspections of solder and conformal coatings on circuit card assemblies, adhering to IPC-A-610 & IPC-J-STD-001 standards

• Follow predetermined inspection methods, specifications, and checklists, using various measuring devices (e.g., dial indicators, micrometers, scales) to ensure compliance with industry standards and manufacturing specifications

Required Skills:

• Minimum 2 years in solder/visual inspection, or 3 years in manufacturing/soldering of electronic assemblies if lacking formal inspection experience

• Minimum 1 year experience with conformal coating application and inspection

• Ability to conduct inspections using a microscope for precision

• In-depth knowledge of IPC-A-610 & IPC-J-STD-001 standards for circuit card assemblies

• Skill in interpreting technical drawings, diagrams, parts lists, and other inspection documents

• Proficient in documentation processes for quality control and inspection

• Strong verbal and written skills, with an ability to collaborate effectively and diplomatically across manufacturing levels to address quality concerns

• Comfortable with personal computers for data entry, documentation, and quality tracking

Desired Skills:

• 1-2 years experience documenting inspection outcomes and maintaining revision control

• Proficiency in IPC-A-610 and IPC-J-STD standards, with 2-4 years applied experience in these areas

• 1-2 years experience with measurement techniques and tools for quality control

• Demonstrated skill in visual inspection, with a strong attention to detail and precision
