POSITIONS: Test Engineer, AerospaceSHIFT: DayPAY: $55-70/hr.BENEFITS: Medical insurance, 401K, sick leave as applicable by state law, and EAP.EXTENSION/CONVERSION: EligibleLOCATION: Kent, WAROLES & RESPONSIBILITIESWe are seeking an Aerospace Test Engineers, of all levels, for a Space Exploration company which would be a great opportunity for someone with strong testing, troubleshooting and supporting pressurized fluid systems.Write test plans and test procedures for fluid components, including development, and environmental qualification and acceptance campaignsAssist in support equipment design, budgeting, procurement, verification, and integrationMaintain fluids test equipment configuration control, calibration, and traceabilityParticipate in gated design and test readiness reviewsMaintain and operate pneumatic and cryogenic hardware and/or control software. Follow safety policies during test planning and operationsTroubleshoot anomalies real-timeReduce, analyze, and archive test data to support verification tasksESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONSMinimum of a Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, aerospace, civil engineering or related field3+ years of relevant experienceExperience with pressurized equipment; developing, writing, and executing test procedures for servicing or leak-checking GN2 systemsExperience reading P&ID schematics/layout designsMust be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum.BONUS QUALIFICATIONSExperience with cryogenic and GHe test capabilities, including design, fabrication, installation, and operation.Experience with component testing of spaceflight hardware through the development, qualification, and acceptance of test campaignsExperience with test facility instrumentation and Data Acquisition and Control SystemsFamiliarity with cleanroom work and its associated best practicesProficiency in LabView, Python, MATLABWHY AVERRO?#1 VENDOR: We have had most placements with Blue Origin over the last 3+ years and recognized with “Top of the Pack” award for overall engagement with Blue Origin.HIGH CONVERSION RATE: 80+% of our placements result in extension and/or conversion to FTE.
