Become an After School Educator with HOKALI!

Are you ready to turn your passion for Spanish into purpose? HOKALI, a Y Combinator–backed leader in after-school programs, is looking for enthusiastic and dedicated Spanish Instructor to join our community in Redwood City, CA. We partner with over 200 schools across the U.S., creating enriching after-school experiences that help students grow, explore new interests, and build confidence.

What you’ll do:

• Lead engaging and educational Spanish after-school classes.
• Create a positive, supportive, and fun learning environment.
• Encourage creativity, self-expression, teamwork, and self-confidence in students.
• Teach age-appropriate dance foundations in a safe and inclusive setting.
• Contribute to meaningful programs that make a real impact on students’ lives.

We’re actively seeking instructors with experience in:

• Languages
• Spanish

Schedule: Tuesdays from 2:45 to 3:45pm (Grades 4th-8th) and Thursdays from 1:10 to 2:40pm (Grades TK-3rd)

Requirements

• 18+ years of age
• Experience working with children in after-school or educational settings (Required).
• Background in Languages (Preferred).
• Strong classroom management and communication skills.
• Ability to work on-site in Sunnyvale, CA.
• Ability to pass background check, Live Scan, and TB test (CA requirements).
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication abilities.
